SoCal owners - front license plate - yay or nay?

Do you have your front plate mounted? If not, how aggressive are the cops to enforce? Have you been busted? Is it just a fixit ticket or is there a fine? The car just looks sooooooooo much better without it.

My chance of getting a missing front plate is low, but I wouldn't risk it.

If you park in LAX without the front plate, expect a ticket once you return to your car.
