I hadnt heard of this, so went to check out the website. Its not available to my city (Temecula). Since I am grandfathered into NEM 1 with SCE, I would want to see if how they handle NEM credits now is how they will handle it in the future (grandfathering of current pay structure they are talking about).

I would also want to know what TOU rates they are assigning to you, etc... if you dont have batteries (powerwalls) that is going to matter.

Good call. I would have to check their rates. I’m leaning towards opting out as I learned that the credits from them cannot be applied to the line charges from SCE and vise versa.

Im interested to know what you find and decide. Please update here, there is at least one person who is interested. You might consider joining us over in the tesla energy section as well.
