SoCal Roadster Rally... soon?

If anyone is interested in a last minute meet up also in Palos Verdes, Pelican Parts hosts a cars and coffee at the peninsula center mall. It’s this Saturday 2/24 at 7am. I have attended numerous times...it’s a nice gathering of Porsche’s and other imports. It would be neat to have a bunch of Roadsters there! Here’s a link and a picture for more info:

For that matter... The Tesla Owners Club of Orange County will be meeting with the San Diego Club in the Cars and Coffee located at San Clemente Supercharger this Saturday... we'd love to see some Roadsters join us for the event...

Just a reminder, there is a Los Angeles Tesla Club. Here's a calendar of our events for the year and if you'd like to join our mailing list you can click on the link on our website www.teslaclubla.com. We are also doing an event on the weekend of March 24-25th in Palm Springs with the OC and San Diego clubs.

I'll just point out that I brought the only Roadster...

Still, it would be good to have a Roadster gathering again. We could even let the occasional other Teslas attend.

It's a bit too early (and weather was not nice enough) to make the drive to Palos Verdes. I would be up for an LA roadster owners meeting though.

Just a follow-up. I am working with Tesla corporate on trying to get this organized. They are interested, but with the end-of-quarter sales push, we won't get a commitment until after July 1st.

FWIW, perhaps we try 2x annually or quarterly and choose a different county each time so we can experience different localities (charging infrastructure/options permitting, of course)? A quick Wiki check shows SoCal comprised of 10 counties...
