Soft knock sound from front of car- not drive

New p90d...love it (had a p85- and it had the drive tran issue which this is NOT)....

car almost perfect except I notice at LOW speeds (like in a parking lot) under 7mph- if i let off accelerator and REGEN (as much as you can at 7mph), then feather the accelerator i hear a soft knock from front of car.

getting service..not sure anything is even wrong....but definite sound

it may be the Tesla Ranger trying to get you to let him/her out of the frunk....

follow up: sc picked up car...they said that they had to ratchet "something" down inside front of car...GREAT its fixed (How the F did i get a new car with a loose screw)..lol

I have clearance issues with the front tires striking the wheel wheels, so I hear knocks and rubbing when in reverse at 3/4 turn or accelerating when the suspension is on High or Very High. Service center treated it as an alignment issue, but I suspect something isn't tightened down properly.

Have you confirmed the tires are actually making contact with the wheel wells? They absolutely should not be doing that.
