Software bug with AC?

    I believe there is a bug related to the "auto" settings in the AC. If you have any of the AC options set to anything OTHER than "auto" and then you turn front window defrost on and then off, the AC settings all flip back to "auto" and remain there. Can someone else confirm that they are seeing the same thing? This is annoying because as soon as I try to use defrost, the session ends with a fan blowing at full speed in my face.

    Many, many cars do this. You hit defrost, it assumes you're telling it to unleash full blowy power.

    That wasn't the oddity. The oddity is that when you push the defrost button again, it turns off and goes to full-auto regardless of the settings you had previously.

    While I agree with you about the NON-oddity being an issue, the oddity that you note, about it all returning to full auto, regardless of the previous manual settings, is NOT happening to me.

    This happened prior to v4.1. :) After v4.1, it's working differently.
