I'm looking for a person, or couple people to assist with a most likely simple project... (initial hurdles are most likely just foundation issues) "Looking for someone who knows how to build a wifi device such as the NEST thermostat... doesn't need to be that complicated, but packaged just as slick, and custom programmed chipset / linux and wifi card... anyone? lol" Essentially the device will look really really slick, and have blue tooth connectivity for setup, and then inbound and out-bound wifi and a simple display on it.... Based on some of the reading I've done on this form, looks like there might be someone who could help PM me if interested in some details. N.
I need a few wifi-gadgets around the house for irrigation metrics. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I was just going to use an arduino with wifi shield: Amazon.com: Arduino UNO R3 board with DIP ATmega328P: Computers Accessories Amazon.com: Arduino WiFi Shield: Computers Accessories There are lots of software examples available too. If you are savvy at all it should be possible, if you are doing a one-off thing.
