Software Update 2018.16.1

Received 2018.16.1 (cbe3dea) after a mobile service appointment this afternoon:

2014 Model S 60
AP1
MCU1

Nothing new in the release notes from what I can see.

Sadly I don't have the subzero package nor premium sound, so I can't test steering wheel heat or audio fixes.

html5test.com is still showing ~300 for the browser. Browser is still totally usable and general UI speed is smooth and fast.

I hope this is a relatively bug free one that can go wide. The browser improvements will be much welcomed. I am on 2018.12 AP2 s100D

Was there some indication in the release notes that they fixed the bass issue recently introduced in .12?

Have you checked with the fader that the rear speakers have any sound at all? Mine seem to be lacking bass completely in the rear doors , 10.4 standard sound system.

Surprisingly, this one is on all (well, more) models (again). Wonder if it actually has any fixes, or what's the point of a point release (no pun intended...)? (16.2 is only on the 3, and that one had 16.1 before, this is getting weird...)

Likewise. I keep waiting for that release right around the corner that turns on something fun. And by something fun, I do not mean radar braking.

Yeah, saw that... weird distribution. Extremely weird to have one that goes to the 3 and those also. Have to try to be patient.

But 18 should technically be coming out next Tuesday or so, lol....

By “bass is fine” do you mean it previously didn’t work for you and now after the update it’s started working again?

18 is already coming out... this release is very strange unless it was a test.

I never had the issue in the first place - so continued good functionality.
