I have 2018.26.2 6341863 on my AP2 S75D - no lock confirmation capability and other than fixing the random MCU freezes (win!) I haven't noticed any difference from 24.1

It's not. This is the version that gives you the previous release notes for your convenience.

Think think the S and X don’t have lock conformation because they have key fobs. The Model 3 has auto lock because of the missing fob.

I have no idea why people post the entire firmware code. There has never been two versions of the same code, such as 2018.26.3 gh5u8 and 2018.26.3 yu7t9, so posting the whole thing is completely pointless. Just the first part is sufficient.

By the way, the hash at the end is hex, meaning it's only 0-9 and a-f

I don't get the need for a lock confirmation sound? That sound is made by the horn, right? Don't you bother arriving late night in a quiet neighbourhood and then your car wakes up everybody with that honking? I mean, wouldn't it be enough to look back over your shoulder and see the folded mirrors as a confirmation?
Maybe, it's a US vs. EU thing. I never saw, or better heard, a car doing that here in the old world

I just got be4b11e on my Model 3 today. This was after I got home from the service station where they updated my bootloader and reapplied an older firmware (same one I came in with). When I got home, it prompted me for an update.

It's a lot clearer if you mention the actual version name: 2018.26.3. Though seeing that this thread is also called 2018.26.3 my suggestion applies more to talking about firmware versions in general, not this thread per se.

I was skipped on the last version but just got 2018.26.3. Nice to see WiFi and Summon is available with this version.

Looks like this update, 2018.26 3bbd9fd changed the walk away door lock setting to "off". The car still closed the handles and locked the car when I walked away unless it was plugged in, then it just closed the door handles, turned off the lights but left the instrument panel lit with the charging display active. The car remained unlocked even overnight. When I flipped the setting back to on, then it behaved as expected plugged in or not.

Anyone else witness this behaviour ?
