For the record, I haven't gotten it yet, but I'll be sure to let everyone know when I have an update available, when I start installing it, when it is finished installing, and what the release notes say. In the event that the release notes actually say something useful, I'll be completely radio silent, and regardless of any of the above, I'll be sure to not actually post anything relevant about what the update actually changes.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm pretty certain regen is going to be reduced, air conditioning will no longer be as cool, autosteer will no longer be able to hold curves the way it used to, and there will be a lot more vampire loss and phantom braking.

Actually looked out there on TeslaFi and it appears as though this is 2018.26.3.b - weird that they skipped 2018.26.3.a

It's not 2018.26.3.b, it's 2018.26.3 be4b11e, or just 2018.26.3
For the purposes of firmware versions, we can ignore the 7 character hashcode that follows the build version (be4b11e in this case).

Just got it. Looks like the release notes are the same as the last release: added lock confirmation sound. Weird.

Nope, no change, a copy of the 2016.26.1 notes the Model 3 got.
May be a combination of 2016.26.1 and 2016.26.2? And other bug fixes?

On both my model S's, I got 2018.26 3bbd9fd. It is not 2018.26.3

Rob there's 2018.26.1, 2018.26.2, 2018.26.3 out there in addition to 2018.26 3bbd9fd. Although the majority have 2018.26 3bbd9fd.

BTW, the version number issue would be a LOT simpler if people would stop looking at the hashcode, period. Ev-fw.com doesn’t report it and it doesn’t serve a purpose to us except to confuse.
Only one time in the last year has the hashcode mattered and that was for a failed release that was replaced. Except for that we have hundreds of confused posts about 26.3 and 26 3xxxxx.

26.x doesn’t have lock confirmation for S or X? That sucks. Seems like an easy thing to allow all models to have.
The notes say only for the 3. I’ve not tested it as I only have 2018.26 and not heard different. Assuming the notes are precise.
