Any idea how this would react to an exit lane or junction lane backed up with traffic? Any indication so far that it is traffic aware and would line up in the backed up lane, or at least try try and merge into the line somewhere safe?
I thought the grey lines were the path that it is thinking about/wanting to take, vs. the blue line that is the path that it is currently taking. That is why right before a lane change you see the grey line showing the new lane change path.
I noticed the car going 77 in a 65 zone; so is the car setting any +10 mph ceiling at all? or in certain areas?
Thank you @dennis_d for your efforts and sharing, that sounds very promising! I do hope it makes its way to Europe sooner than 3 months maybe, 6 months definitely
Makes sense. This example has the grey line two lanes over and the video cuts to a new clip before the car changes lanes. Would have been interesting to watch the car change two or three lanes.
Just installed tesla app 3.6 which says new app features require 2018.39. based on last time this happened, I received an update within 3 weeks. Fingers crossed it's not longer than that.
I wouldn't even start counting until it actually makes it way to the US first. (EAP members and hackers don't count.)
Which is crazy because we're out here salivating at the thought of trying anything and would happily do it for free...
Yeah but you're not going to give Tesla some new money, you already gave them money. While they want to test, Im sure they dont mind the 100-200 new car sales that will come of this.
OK maybe you would, but not me. I'd want a lot more than they are getting. I hope they are getting life insurance with that. I don't even want the V9 when it comes out. I'll let everyone else work out the bugs. I plan to ignore the update.
