FYI, as of 18.39 it can detect following object:

PASSENGER_CAR = 1,
LIGHT_TRUCK = 2,
TRUCK_2AXLE = 3,
TRUCK_MULTIAXLE = 4,
MOTORCYCLE = 5,
BICYCLE = 6,
PEDESTRIAN = 7

All of them have different rendering

I don't have v9, but my AP1 vehicle currently renders passenger car, 2 axle truck, motorcycle, and pedestrian (I've never seen the pedestrian one though, only on YouTube).

We already have haptic feedback for lane departure in the steering wheel, I don't know why Tesla wouldn't use the same feedback mechanism for blind spot detection with directional enabled.

Especially since the lane departure warning is off by default. Probably a good thing since it's really annoying.

I'd much prefer heptic feedback from the blindspot monitoring.

I should not be excited too much as I am in Europe but those semi-autonomous features (change lane automatically...), are they only available when you have paid the full FSD upgrade or with the normal AP option?

Or you can look at it this way. My car is only 8 months old. 219K CDN and is already out of date. V2.0 not 2.5. Missed it by 2 months. The pain is real. But that's just the technology game.

8 months is a 2018 build date so it should have AP2.5? Mine is an Aug 17 build and the VIN lookup says I have 2.5?

Did a small test drive with 'drive-by-nav', post pics a bit later Correct my previous post, 6 cameras are celebrating, it gives the errors about pilar cameras not being calibrated by still allowed me to drive. It possible that all 8 cameras will be used. Spoiler alert! autopilot overtake other vehicles which is kind of cool

@dennis_d, are all those cameras calibrated (and used?) on cars with EAP only (so without having to buy the FSD package) ?

This car I installed it on doesn't have the cold weather package I think.

Also it is pre-AP, that is why you guys see no AP settings. We can expect some AP2, Drive on Nav videos from @BigD0g later, hopefully

Thx for the videos. Looks like the usability (ergonomic) have been hurt - several one-click functionalities are two-clicks now (turn on/of climate, open phone or energy screen)

Reactivity seems very good. Is this on MCU 1 or MCU 2?
