We already have haptic feedback for lane departure in the steering wheel, I don't know why Tesla wouldn't use the same feedback mechanism for blind spot detection with directional enabled.

Especially since the lane departure warning is off by default. Probably a good thing since it's really annoying.

I'd much prefer heptic feedback from the blindspot monitoring.

Did a small test drive with 'drive-by-nav', post pics a bit later Correct my previous post, 6 cameras are celebrating, it gives the errors about pilar cameras not being calibrated by still allowed me to drive. It possible that all 8 cameras will be used. Spoiler alert! autopilot overtake other vehicles which is kind of cool

@dennis_d, are all those cameras calibrated (and used?) on cars with EAP only (so without having to buy the FSD package) ?
