Software Update 2018.39.5 a1c2332 (first 9.0 release)

AP 1 owner here. I was on the release prior to 36.2 and have 9.0 running today. I suspect your suspicions may be correct about AP2.5 and or MCU2.

I went from .34.1 to .36 and I am AP2.5 MCU1

If summon is enabled and continuous press is turned off, you double press park then select direction on touchscreen. If it stopped working, check your preferences.
Currently only on S/X.

FWIW noticing after 50 miles of driving that the surround display is less glitchy — fewer teleporting cars when passing by. I suspect there is some sort of calibration happening over time.

Lets just have a stiff drink and wait. I can get a copy of any software immediately, almost any product from Amazon in 2 days or less, but the Elon store moves a little slower.

I wish I would have known before buying this vehicle that every time a new feature is introduced would cause me more anxiety than I had as a five year old prior to Christmas, maybe I would have gone for the Corvette. NAWWWW

We got a new MX last weekend. It came with 32.7 and hasn't gotten any update yet. Our M3 and AP1 MS are still on 36.2. Whichever gets updated first will help add to the metrics of update priority.

Folks, did I miss a way to do this? On my S, with 8.1, I was used to having the rear camera full time in the top half of the screen and the music in the bottom half. Now with 9.0, I can only have one or the other and that too in the bottom alone with nav taking up the precious real estate in the top half. I miss 8.1...

According to TeslaFi, this update is just going out to AP 2.5 currently. Hopefully going wider in the next few days. I'm personally a bit nervous about the huge UI changes in the Model S but will reserve judgment after playing with it for a few days.

As far as I know, AP2 cars are not getting V9 yet. I mean, it still might happen today sometime, but it hasn't started yet.

Not true. V9 is being updated on AP1, AP2 and AP2.5.

Wait I’m confused. So do you need to have bought FSD for blind spot monitoring to work? Or just that your car is AP2.0+ hardware?

Yeah, pretty sure that’s it. I’m fairly certain I did the same when I upgraded to true Xs as well.

If you change your phone, you need to re-run the bluetooth sync to get your calendar, let calls, dialer etc.

Does anyone know if these software updates get updated as one software chunk or does it come incrementally? I've noticed a lot of activity on my vehicle, but it's like 7MBs here and 18 there. I'm guessing it should just be like one 500MB or so of data activity.

Single update + separate maps update.

Seriously. I find the camera so positively distracting I never imagined so many people used it all the time.

Interestingly enough this same set of people seems completely tuned out to the fact that this has been discussed for weeks now, over and over, since the very first pre-release leaked.
