Software Update 2018.39.x (Version 9)

To be clear, many of us Model 3 owners (myself included) got the V9 update yesterday (see earlier posts in this thread). That update was V9.5 (39.5). It appears Tesla has also released 39.6 but that might be related to something specific for the S/X.
I wonder if there wasn't something wrong in 39.5, and that's why it stopped.

The 39.6 definitely does seem top be specific for the S/X.

There is a new 39.6.1, but I don't know what that is.

I have a Model 3, and still no update for me.

Same experience, our AP2.0 S got .39.6 but our 3 (which usually gets updates first) didn't want to download anything. I strongly suspect there'll be a follow up update soon.

Nope. Have to take care of their high margin cars first. Model 3 is lower pecking order.

I paid roughly about the same for my P3D+ that I would have paid for a 75D.

In fact I think my P3D+ had higher margins. Also, like many I had a Model S before I got the 3.

Personally I just think there was a bug/glitch in the Model 3 code that had to be fixed, and that's why the rollout for it has stalled.

What do you consider as "many"? TeslaFi shows 0.6%. I know it is just a sample, but based on the sample size, the margin of error is only 0.54%.

Nothing ... widely. Huh

What did previous upgrades look like in the Model 3 Vs S/X on TeslaFi ?

They have easy to read charts.

I’m confused on what you are saying? There have been zero installs of 39.5 today and hundreds of 39.6 on Model S and X without one single model 3.

Just looking at data, it’s clear nothing is rolling to 3s widely.

I don't see what's wrong with relying on Teslafi.

There are roughly 750 Model's on Teslafi so it can give a pretty good indication of what the rollout is like.

Teslafi clearly shows there was never a significant rollout to Model 3's.
