Moderator note: Corrected original title...the software version being discussed is not software release V11.

Moderator note #2: The first 4-ish pages of this thread are a merge of four different threads on roughly the same topic.

I have a model s and did the update now The instrument cluster display writing so small it is hard if not impossible to read while driving.

I'm not sure if 2020.48.26 is v11? Can you please post your version and pictures? I have a model S and I'd like to know what you're talking about so I can hold off if needed!

v11 isn’t out to the public yet, are you in early access and testing it by chance?

V11 hasn’t been released yet. OP is referring to the holiday update (10.2).

Very few Model S/X owners for the update because Elon said it’s primarily for Model 3 and Y who have the pedestrian noise maker.

Unless it shows us the version and release notes I’m think he’s confusing us all with this posting.

26 was only for those with the speaker as of last night (VIN limited). I assume we will get it shortly or part two will include the visualization parts and not the sounds part )since we don’t have the speaker) and also the other things that were not included here for lack of testing time.

He's actually right. Just installed 48.26, and they have noticeably reduced icon and font sizes on the instrument cluster in S/X. Things are hard to see now. Do they realize the majority of S/X demographic likely suffers from age induced farsightedness?

Or, instead of posting another useless message, you could actually... you know... contribute. Gently correct the original poster early on, we're still on 10.2. The changes in question were introduced in 48.25 and 48.26.

I understand that line of thinking, but another way to think about it is: It is an update, although the poster got the version number wrong, that isn't an important detail to what his comments are about.

Moderator note: Per request, corrected thread title to note this isn't really V11.

Also a general note: Please keep your comments respectful and in particular avoid trolling, attacks, and namecalling.

    Thanks,

    Bruce.

I’m an ophthalmologist snd I’m having trouble with small font size. Maybe you Tesla could put an option to choose various fonts/sizes to make all happy!?

Keep bugging Elon on Twitter and submitting bug reports in your Tesla. Really hope they fix that. It's ridiculous.

One could make the case that it is required by law. What is the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)? | ADA National Network
