Software update confusion

I recently upgraded to MCU2 and noted the software version was 2022.4.5.3. After I got the car home I saw that there was a new update available, and after I installed it my app showed my recent update as 2021.4.3! I was perplexed. Then I received notice of a new update which I installed and my car once again showed the most recent update as 2022.4.5.3! Can anyone explain? TIA

I haven’t replaced my MCU (I already have MCU2), but when I upgraded to HW3, the service center installed an older version of the firmware than was already installed, but then I got a newer version. Maybe that’s what you’re seeing. Or maybe you misread the version number, which you can verify if you use a tool like TeslaFi.
