You need white duct tape. Then measure and layout your “parking space”. I added a line in back to allow the car rear view camera to Show on the bottom of the rear camera view.

Yeah, that's probably what I should do. I'm just lame and have been trying to find pre-existing features (stain/crack on the floor, etc) to align but couldn't find one yet.

I duct taped a swim noodle on the inside of my garage door as a back up safety message.

Used to back in my LEAF into my small two-car garage (previous home) from the alley. With the 360 around-view cameras it was super easy. I added an electronic parking distance sensor to the garage wall that showed a green-yellow-red stoplight as I backed in.

Back in parking made it possible to fully open the hatch, and it was more convenient and safer pulling out into the alley.

I still miss the around-view on my current car.

Are you guys using the autopark feature with the lines?

No, I think everyone uses them to help park manually.

I think the Model X has this feature. Maybe paying an extra $30K for that model is what needs to be done.
