A really cool solar powered CHAdeMO / CCS Combo charging station is being installed at the West Point Visitor Information Center at Milepost 2 on Interstate 85 N in Georgia.
The structure is a Spotlight Solar™ Lift; a 3,000 kw, two branched structure with 12 solar panels. The installation is being done by Hannah Solar, LLC for the City of West Point, GA with a grant from Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG), and project support from the Ray C. Anderson Foundation's Mission Zero™ Corridor initiative, (which I am lucky to be a part of).
The charging station will be open in the next couple of months and will be free to all.
