I had my solar system activated a few days ago. The Tesla app and SolarCity site both show exactly double for my home power consumption to what it actually should be. For example, I can use the app to watch my power usage in real time, and at baseline, it shows my home drawing about 0.4 kW, at which point, I plug in my Model 3 to charge, and the car says it's charging at 11 kW, but the Tesla app says my home is then drawing 22-23 kW, which obviously, if true, would trip the 50 amp breaker. I just contacted Tesla Energy about this issue, and they seem to have doubts about my ability to do basic math, but they said they would look into it further and get back to me.
