Good luck!!

Holy mackerel...what this implies about the tanking values of X is just mind-blowing!
I get the quarter end inventory push thing, but it's only mid-May! What's Tesla going to offer the ~same vehicle for the last week of June?!

It was a good deal but it was a 2017 and I reckon has a fair bit of imperfections. A friend reserved a heavily discounted showroom model a while back. It was the ACTUAL showroom model that thousands of people sat in. The amount of tear and wear was excessive (scratches galore, steering wheel buttons loose, worn mats, seat creases, junk in little crevices) even though it had only 600 miles. Tesla fixed the major ones after delivery but most of the imperfections were not under the reason of “its heavily discounted for that.”

Yup. I saw a showroom X with white seats and it was not just dirty but very worn as well (scratches, scuff marks, blue dye from jeans transfer). My 4 kids didn’t help matters at all when they were climbing all over the seats.

How did you find that deal - OA?

Here are the 113 Tesla locations in the USA (by zipcodes) to scan (programmatically) for inventory vehicles and prices. You can select the max distance, trim (i.e S100D, P100DL etc), and provide the zipcode etc and crawl tesla's website as frequent as you like to beat others to a deal. :) . Good Luck.

Thanks, that list makes it easier...and I use ev-cpo but I think there are other deals out there that ev-cpo doesn't catch.
Dzm

I've seen this mentioned a few times the last couple of days, and I feel like I need to respond.

Everyone looking for the most amazing inventory deals, please realize that no matter how they are found, they last only minutes before someone sees it and buys the car.

Besides EV-CPO and the other sites, there are A LOT of independent people constantly searching Tesla's site on their own for a good deal, either manually by plugging in zip codes, or macros, or their own API scripts (I've helped a few people do this for their own use). So the actual window of time these deals are available to be captured by any website is very, very short. And it's not possible to scan every zip code and every car on Tesla's site every four minutes to capture every possible deal or listed car (well, you can try, but Tesla will actively ban your IP address if you try too hard).

I'm sure there are lots of amazing deals that EV-CPO caught based solely on good timing, that other sites didn't catch before they were snatched up and delisted. Will EV-CPO miss a few good deals because they're listed so briefly? Sure. But so will every other site out there. For the inventory cars with the biggest discounts, all the sites use the same API and access methods, so really, it just gets down to which site (or other independent users or their scripts) found the good deals first.

And I know there have been lots of amazing deals people have gotten that no site had time to catch.

the website is great but does it including the display cars in the showroom? i cant find the MX on the website which is offer by the Tesla Show room.

Actual Tesla store. while searching MX inventory online, i stopped by the Tesla Store and they offer the MX in the showroom for sales but cant find it listed on the Tesla and EV-CPO under inventory car

Yes, Tesla never lists every car in their inventory as available for sale on their website. They always hold back a significant number of cars only available to their internal sales staff. The best strategy for finding the best deal is use EV-CPO (or others), AND have a close relationship with a sales associate who has access to these unlisted cars in their inventory. If you have them work for you, they'll find the best deals even before the cars are listed online.
