Something possibly missing from my frunk

i took delivery few days ago on a M3p- (premium interior). Fit and finish look great but few days after getting home it occurred to me might be missing something in the frunk (if so then i was too distracted checking paint under frunk lid / lid alignment to notice )
From the pic can anyone tell me if I am just missing the carpeted mat or does it appear additional plastic panel / covers are missing ?

Ok thanks ...if looks to you only the carpeted mat is missing i’m fine with that will just buy one for $35 on tesla shop / a minor issue given delivery problem possibilities

Agreed. I bought the rubber liner and put it over the carpet!

Yea I was originally looking at frunk and trunk rubber liners that’s how I noticed carpeted was missing haha

Eh I’m cool with it given that I got in on the paint / wheel credit thing that others had trouble finalizing
An easy fix buy a mat / chuck it in

Ha, I just made a thread on this topic. Yes, this is a new development. Cars as of August no longer include the mat, at any trim level. Looks like the service rep wasn't just blowing smoke.

There's a shortage of sheep from which they shear to make the frunk carpet material. Next shearing is in the Fall. The service center will notify you when they come in.

Not sure it would matter much to me if mine doesnt come with it. I dont see me keeping anything in the frunk anyway. Completely unsecured, I dont want stuff snatched from it.

The eBay TPE frunk and trunk well mats are good and fairly inexpensive.

Can you please explain what this comment means? What’s wrong with carpet?? Is it wearing out? Breaking down in some way? What are you using your frunk for? Carrying fresh caught fish? Just curious...

Now if I opened my frunk during delivery and there was an IOU w/ pic of a lil lamb who would someday be sheered for my liner that would have been awesome !
