What's weird about this is that as far as I know, *all* of these were held by Silver Lake Kraftwerk. Elon Musk also had some but he converted them. They've *never* traded.
They're in the money so they were as good as stock for upside. They traded at a premium to the stock price that day, probably because they have downside protection. I wonder why Silver Lake Kraftwerk sold them, how many they sold, and most interestingly, *who bought them the next day*? I would have expected this sort of trade to be a private placement and not listed in the TRACE database, but apparently not. Or is Silver Lake conducting shenanigans where they sell them and buy them back themselves for tax purposes or to raise overnight funds or something?
