Song cover art no longer available for Radio after 8.0 update

one change I noticed with the 8.0 update is with the media player. When listening to a radio station, the song album art doesn't display like it used to. I get a generic station image for some stations, but I am pretty sure that with the previous media player, the radio station songs played with song specific album art.

Anyone else notice this change?

Seems like an unnecessary downgrade.

I noticed it too, and can't think of any reason they pulled it. I do know that the cover images were pretty unreliable - maybe that had something to do with it...

Some stations still show some don't. I listen to Slacker mostly so not a big deal for me.

Some stations show generic art, but the song level art has definitely been reduced for Radio (not streaming). I can't think of any good reason why.
