I am really enjoying not hearing the same music from my collection over and over again, nor having to listen to the crap my local stations play. The quiet ride of the Model X makes listening to good music even better.

A few songs I recently found that sound really good on the premium sound system are:

    - Crime of the Century, Supertramp - no noticeable distortion even with the volume set to 11

    - I was a Fool, Tegan and Sara - nice, full lower end notes.

Anyone have some other favorites that just sound really good on this car?

    Cheers,

    Jon

Contact by daft punk - progression gets intense on volume 11

Girls, girls, girls by motley crue - rediscovered this with the premium audio and it's never sounded better!

    Go to HDTracks.com

The high resolution version of Remain in Light by Talking Heads is what I used at the Tesla Store to test the system.

Thoroughly enjoyed Baba O'Riley today, firing up all the speakers with its intro and a variety of instruments.
Also reminded me of how under-rated Roger Daltry is/was.

Even the old remastered stuff sounds just OK. Modern recording and mixing technology makes such a difference.

I listed to "Hello" by Adele in the showroom and it convinced me on the spot to go with the premium sound package.

Looks like the Model X is maturing enough for people to now enjoy it rather than worry about doors, rattles and windows :)

I heard her sing that Set Fire to Rain song while driving......so good I spontaneously sprung on concert tickets. Not quite as pricey as the car, but she better sound as good without it.

so on the subject of sound, do any of you have a bad vibration noise from the panel covering the sub? passenger side rear. on a recommendation from someone on face book I stuffed a rag between the rear cover and the side wall to make it stop.

I noticed that when I took delivery and the SC installed additional foam and it hasn't happened since.
