While not terribly interesting or likely to happen, this shows the state of the automotive industry. Tech companies feel that they actually have a shot. This should terrify legacy makers even more.
Lot of cooks in the kitchen. If Tesla and Apple has shown the industries anything it is you want to control all the verticals and reduce your dependencies on suppliers. Each company-to-company interface is a place for information to get loss, incorrect sub assemblies delivered, delays, etc.
Partnered with Nvidia and Nvidia?! That's even more Nvidias than Tesla's ever been partnered with, they clearly can't fail with the backing of Nvidia and Nvidia!
It looks great, but it'll probably never come to market. I don't see the point in a company creating and displaying a product that will never be sold. Really, what's the reason to even do this?
