SOS button issue

So, in the middle of playing Buggy Racing with my nephews and Playstation controllers, one of them leaned forward from the back seat and dialled emergency services with his head by accidentally hitting the SOS button.

No problem, I thought, I'll just cancel it from the home screen. I'd tested this before and it gives you plenty of time to kill the call before it connects. I immediately closed out of the game but there was no cancel button anywhere in sight. Even when the call connected I couldn't hang up from the dialler. I very sheepishly explained to the operator that there'd been a mistake and that I couldn't disconnect the call. She ended up doing it for me.

For the next hour while I took a few relatives for a spin around the area, the SOS button flashed and I had a warning that the SOS dialler was malfunctioning and to book a service. The next morning there was no sign of any issue.

Anyone else had any issues?
