I always thought South of the Border on I95 would be an ideal location for EV charging. I’ve stopped there many times over the years, and there’s way more to do there than the typical Sheetz and WaWa parking lots. I’m sure the various business owners would greatly benefit from the additional traffic it would bring.

I know right where you are talking about. Nice place. They probably can use the email address on the below link to see if Tesla would help them with the hardware and the install. Most destinations tesla chargers that I see also have nearby a J1772 which I believe Tesla also sponsors so they would be all covered.
If you own a Model S and a business with a parking lot, Tesla will install HPWCs for free

South of the Border is a shell of what it was 25 years ago! Besides at 10 PM all I’m looking for is to charge and a bathroom break. I’ll stick with Sheetz and Wawa.

I agree to a point. When I’m traveling with the family, I generally want more than a quick in and out, especially when food is involved. On the many road trips we’ve been on, we tire quickly of the MTO cuisine, especially when there are no tables available for seating.

That place is more than a touch weird. My wife refuses to set foot in there. I have a feeling that she's not the only one.
