A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a Crew Dragon spacecraft on its second operational flight with astronauts on-board to the International Space Station. The Crew Dragon will return to a splashdown at sea.

Reentry scorchmarks, not simple soot. Can't wipe it off.

Maybe a small bone to pick here with Elon. This recently released photo from SpaceX features the Crew-2 astronauts initials inscribed on the side of B1061. Check out those sooty index fingers! In less than ten days we might be able to see how they've held up when their F9 goes vertical.

The 4/22 scheduled liftoff time is 6:11 a.m., 38 minutes before sunrise. Hoping for some of those otherworldly Space contrails!

Just because there is some soot that can be wiped off doesn't imply that aren't scorch marks that can't be.
