So who's watching? Nice daylight so hopefully we'll get good video of the landing attempt... eventually.

Watching. If the range stops the launch because of 10 mile zone for storms I'll be pissed

t minus 10 min and counting...

Un F'n believeable... Called off with 3min to go.

Damn It. They shoulda just issued a waiver. 10mi zone is arbitrary.

I don't know why I keep trying to watch these. I keep taking time away from work for it, and it's a good 90% scrub and disappointment.

Damn that was disappointing. At T-3. And the ocean weather was fairly calm! Try again tomorrow.

Hopefully the weather will not prevent the attempt at landing the booster.

Florida's weather creates headaches, but it's a good location for other reasons. First, it takes less fuel to reach orbit the closer the launch site is from the equator because of the higher rotational velocity. Second, Florida has the width of the Atlantic Ocean as its range. The Gulf Coast of Texas is the other obvious location, which is why SpaceX is setting up a shop there; Texas is further north, though, and the Gulf is dotted with oil rigs that make a mess when they're blown up.
