Spare Part Wait Times

Hi everyone, my Model 3 is currently getting new suspension at Scientific Motor Body Works due to a smash, does anyone have any experience on how long parts normally take to be delivered? It's been over a month and still none of the parts have turned up.

In my experience (accident requiring parts from the US) it can take months. It depends I suppose on how many spares are held in country for 3's, I doubt Tesla has much of a stockpile of parts here.
Keep in mind this is for a Model X.
Would also depend on how on the ball your repairer is.

I would have hoped Tesla would stock suspension parts for their Model 3's in Australia considering they are selling like hotcakes at the moment.

Can you source new (possibly temporary) parts off a wreck? There’s a couple of ads online. Folks with performance model 3s keep writing them off for some reason.
