More and more cars are coming out of warranty, and/or finding their way into the hands of second or third owners. Up until now if you needed to replace your rusty and corroded brakes, it meant a trip to Tesla to have them replaced or purchase the parts from them and do it yourself. Either option was expensive and didn't give you any alternatives or possible upgrades. EV Tuning Solutions is happy to announce For 2012-2016 Model S and 2016 Model X with separate electronic parking brake caliper, we now have Cold Weather Package Equivalent Rotors, (available as blank, cross-drilled, slotted, or cross-drilled and slotted) Several Pad Options including an OE Formulation and Brake Caliper Hardware available for about the same cost as just 2 Front OE Rotors from Tesla. We also offer Stainless Braided Brake Lines as an upgrade to give you a firm responsive brake pedal. To help with installation of the brake lines or just for doing the 2yr brake fluid flush that is part of a 24k service we have a Motive Pressure Bleeder/Catch Bottles available (just like they use at the service center). Over time the stock rubber lines will get soft and when you step on the brake pedal the lines will expand before the hydraulic pressure is applied to the pistons of the calipers. The stainless braided lines ensure this no longer happens. This is especially apparent on Non-Autopilot cars.
