So my delivery specialist (Jennifer) will be meeting with me soon to deliver the X. I'm still going back and forth on the tint shade. I'm locked in with photosync as I've had it with my 3 Model Ss and love it. Not reflective like Huper on my BMW and also feels noticeably cooler during the triple digit days in the summer. One thing I'm not sure is the %.

Any X owners have photosync and can share pics?

Windscreen 75 for sure
Front 2 - undecided
Side 2 - undecided
Roof - undecided

I use PhotoSync exclusively and have 65% on my Model S all around and 75% on the windshield.

For my Model X, I also went with PhotoSync, with 65% on the front side windows only. The windshield does not seem to need any sun blocking from what I have experienced so far here in Arizona. The back side windows, falcon wing roof and rear window also do not seem to need any additional help as far as sun blocking goes. Heat coming from the Model X windshield without tinting seems to be about the same as the Model S (with tinting). I’ll wait until the 115º temperatures and full sun before deciding to add more tinting.

When I get a chance I will upload some pictures, but the 65% PhotoSync is not really noticeable and if you look at the specs, the darker PhotoSync does not add a substantial amount of heat rejection. I also like to have the maximum night visibly possible.

I got 45 on my front sides and falcon door roof, and 75 on my back sides and rear windshield. (Waiting on the front windshield until I know how the refraction thing plays out.) Big difference on the front vs stock. Kept it light on the rears for visibility purposes, but it's still pretty dark. 45 on the front sides still looks pretty light. Has a slight blue tinge relative to other tints (grey for Huper Optik, purple (apparently) for 3M). Wish I could say for certain Photosync works better than the others, but so far it seems pretty comparable to the HO on my other car. I'll try to take pictures and post when I get a chance.

My X is going directly to Premiere to get the full car wrap and photosynch. Will post pics once I get the car done. For now, it sits at the SC awaiting few fixes.
I had the front windows of my Model X PhotoSynced with 65%. I’m waiting to see how hot it gets before doing the whole windshield. So far it does not seem to need it and the heat from the windshield without PhotoSync is about the same as the Model S’s with 75% PhotoSync.

Here are some photos of Model Xs completed with Spectra Photosync on all windshields. All are done in 1 piece top to bottom for the windshield.

Who did your PhotoSync installation?
