From a Roadster drive we did at the beginning of the month. Together, they look like a bag of Skittles.
Sorry to have missed this one! I'll definitely make the next one. We need some glacier blue in that rainbow.
Lol. The red ones were nowhere to be found. However, I just received a PM from a Radiant Red owner, so hopefully, we can fill out the rest of the spectrum at our next meet/drive.
Thanks to @spiderguy for organizing a really great drive! My car is the Very Orange 1.5 pictured. The driver of the Orange 2.5 had to leave before we headed down to Hwy 1 and the beach parking lot. Roadster colors are awesome. Hope there is a next time soon and we have more colors!
Wow meow. Great shots! That's some life you Roadster owners live. Makes me a little sad compared to the limited offerings in the Model S design studio.
Fabulous photos, thanks for sharing! The Roadster is certainly the Hot Sister of the Tesla fleet. And the colours are so pretty! Please post again when you get the blue and red ones involved!!!! thanks again regards,
Can you describe the drive down Hwy 1? How far and did you have to charge along the way? Sounds like fun. And you definitely need more red - radiant & fusion
Jimmy, surely you jest. Your Fusion Red Roadster looks fantastic. Too bad you're not on this side of the continent to join us next time. - - - Updated - - - Hwy 1 makes for a fantastic drive, but we only drove on it for a small portion of it this time. We did Hwy 280 - 92 - 35 (Skyline) - 84 -1 - Pescadero Road. Round trip was about 100 miles. My favorite is 84, as it has beautiful banked curves.
We met at the 35/84 intersection across the street from Alice's Restaurant, then went down 84 to San Gregorio State Beach on Hwy 1. Continued south on 1 to Pescadero Creek Road, inland back to 84 and to our meeting place, then had dinner. No need to charge, it's not a lot of miles if you are located on the SF peninsula. Great drive on twisty roads!
That is sort of the quintessential peninsula Sunday drive path for motorcycles and sports cars. I think Tesla recommended something similar to early Roadster depositors when they were first offered a chance to take an extended test drive. Let me know next time you guys meet up at Alice's. Would love to go for a drive with other Roadsters and I live pretty close. I know it isn't rainbow colored, but I'd be happy to add silver to the mix!
