Hey guys I have a 70d is it bad to floor the car a lot? Does it damage anything?
Besides wearing out your tires quicker, I don't know of any reason to not do it all the time.
In Chicago often no damage. On and around I-90 and I-55 in the suburbs and beyond you might do serious damage- to your driving license. The car will not care either way.
With traction control preventing wheel spin, probably won't even wear the tires.
No every thing should be fine.
Any car or any other device will last much longer if used carefully. When you hear of people driving a car 200,000 or 500,00 miles, you can bet they drive sensibly and carefully. No matter how sturdily a devise is built, stressing it heavily will shorten its life.
