If anyone suspected the hatred for Elon and Tesla is driven mostly by Elon's personality, mistakes or wealth, or just general hatred of silicon valley, just look at the hate and vitriol directed at Greta in both mainstream media and social media.
This is primarily an issue of fossil fuel fanbois/stakeholders attacking anybody they feel threatened by.
First they ignore you, then they attack you, then you destroy them.

The comments on youtube/twitter videos showing Greta's speeches were a complete eye-opener for me. It saddens me that these are the type of people that are so prevalent on the internet, publically spewing hate online.

No offense to @Cobbler or to the 14+ people who rated that post informative... but that's not informative. This is par for the course for Spiegel for years now, and it's why the appearance of Spiegel on a video segment or reference to him as a source in written work instantly disqualifies that author and/or (really, and) outlet from consideration as serious journalism. He's completely toxic in addition to his more pedestrian incapability of rational analysis of the company.

reported that hateful, ignorant, worthless piece of crap to twitter for targeted abuse. If everyone on the forum did this, he would be banned. PLEASE take 10 seconds to help remove this awful piece of crap from the internet.
His losing his Twitter account would have minimal effect, as long as the producers at CNBC (or other media) continue to appreciate the willingness of this hedge fund manager to appear in their New York studios on a moment's notice to comment on Tesla.
