Got a visit from Tesla Mobile Service today at my work location to install the carbon fiber spoiler and DualMotor with the red underline badge. I opt to keep the DualMotor badge and not install it; only the spoiler was installed. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. The carbon fiber spoiler is a dry carbon variety without the glossy epoxy, looks super cool and high quality. Please excuse the dirty car. Enough writings, on to the photos.

I got my dual motor badge last week, haven’t heard anything about a spoiler yet — I’m in Texas.

My 3 was delivered in September and is located in California, as the plate on the car indicates. I was offered to have the badge installed last week via email, but I turned it down and asked to be notified when both badge and spoiler are ready. Within a couple of hours of me turning down the badge only install, the advisor responded in an email with the Tesla Management approval of spoiler and badge installation for me.

So take it for what it is worth.

My edges are pretty good, but I think the center section to the top side of the spoiler could be much tighter, it has a 1-1.5mm air gap.

This was the first Model3 spoiler install for my mobile service person.

”Air gap” as in you can see daylight on the other end? Either way I’d be worried.

I'm so used to seeing them without the spoiler, it looks weird with it installed.

Looks nice !!! I took delivery in November, so maybe by the end of the year I'll get mine.

Even the on-screen avatar got the spoiler update. This happened without any FW update, I’m still on 2018.50.6 build.

Looks great! What was the total cost? Do they sell the spoiler "with install" and "without"? I've done a half dozen or so and wasn't sure if you were required to pay for their install.

It was paid for as part of P3D+ package at purchase back in September 2018. Zero cost for me to get it installed, just lots of wait and wait. Still waiting on my FSD... that is another story altogether. LOL

I was the M3 spoiler install for him. Nice guy, we talked shop the whole time when was doing the install. The center section has more gap than I would like, big enough for small leaves to go under during car wash. It will get removed and reinstalled when I do a full wrap someday in the future.
