I have a lot of audio glitches when using Spotify. I did a lot of tests to try reducing them. It seems that disabling traffic, switching to satellite or stopping nav helps, but this is not perfect. However, fully hiding the music window is very effective. So it seems than displaying the music GUI causes a lot of these glitches, which sound like circular buffer underrun in the sound card.
Tesla developers, if you can read this, are you sending music to the audio driver in the same thread than music player gui? If yes, it may be useful split GUI / network streaming / audio api calls to 3 different threads to fix this.
