Spotted Model 3 in Coral Springs

Yesterday early afternoon (about 1:20pm) I spotted a Model 3 in Coral Springs turning off University near Ramblewood into the mall where Wholes Foods and Home Depot are. I assume it must be a second car for a Tesla Owner.... Sorry for the low rez quality. I took a quick photo of it.... I was not prepared to see it and did not follow it into the mall because I was running late.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the forums and welcome to our club. Thanks for the photo.

There are other Model 3's in your area that are the only cars for some former Tesla owners.
Hi JC,

These early Model 3 belong to either Tesla / SpaceX employees or owners who already have a Tesla. It has only been a few days since Tesla began inviting non-owners to configure their Model 3s and those invitations are likely to have been going to California reservation holders. Regardless, not enough time passed for that car to belong to a Florida non-previous owner.

There are of course situations whereby a Tesla / SpaceX employee purchased the car for a family member who never owned a Tesla before, but those situations are going to be rare occasions. The vast majority of these early Model 3s belong to Tesla / SpaceX employees or previous Tesla owners.

The ones tomwhich I referred were people who had owned Tesla when thevreserved but had subsequently sold them so the Model 3 is there only car. I encountered three such people in North Broward when I was last there.
