SR SR+ adding missing rear sway bar

No rear sway bar in SR or SR+????

Came to a surprise for me when I learned that in this forum.

I purchased a performance sway bar complete with end links from eBay for just under $180.

I needed the bolts to mount the sway bar brackets and got those from Tesla for $2 and change for all 4. Part number is 1111154-00-B

Seems like a critical component that was missing. Did you inquire about this with Tesla?

None of the SR and SR+ have a rear sway bar. Unsure if this is for weight/cost savings or the belief a SR car doesn’t need it since that buyer doesn’t “care” about performance.

It could be I spent money and added weight for no reason... I never have taken my car to the track and don’t plan to. I take an annual trip to the mountains and sometimes do spirited on/off ramping. My main reasons for doing it: cheap, easy and I’ve never had a car that didn’t have both a front and rear sway bar.
