The idea of potentially waiting two to three more weeks (ordered November 2nd) is agonizing, but probably realistic. My prediction for the next 3 weeks and three days.
Week 1 (Dec 8 - 14): West Coast (Oct Orders) will all finally get VINs while East Coast and Central coast continue to take VINs & deliveries (especially those who placed orders in Nov and Dec). Backlog for non West Coast should be lower at this point. (I hope)
Week 2 (Dec 15 - 21): Flood gates open! West Coast (Oct Orders) will take deliveries, West Coast (Nov Orders) will be assigned VINs, all other regions continue to prosper as they have been.
Week 3 (Dec 22 - 28): West Coast (Nov Orders) Take Deliveries, West Coast (Dec Orders prior to the 8th) will be assigned VINs.
Weekish 4 (Dec 29 - 31): West Coast (Dec Orders) Take Deliveries and whatever remaining
Just wishful thinking, but who wants to start placing bets step right up!
Was your vin in source code or the main account. Mine has been in source for days.
I hope you're right. This would make a lot of sense. Maybe you should work at Tesla? My prediction for the next 3 weeks and three days.
Week 1 (Dec 8 - 14): California (Oct Orders) will all finally get VINs while Upper West Coast, East Coast and Central Coast continue to take VINs & deliveries (especially those who placed orders in Nov and Dec). Backlog for non California should probably be lower at this point. (I hope)

Just got my VIN! Hells ya! Didn't think it would update on a Sunday.
Ordered 11/02, Vancouver, Canada
White/Black interior/Aero
No FSD
The wait is finally coming to an end! Hope it's gonna start raining VINs for everyone in here soon
Source for now. I'm excited there was any change in status tbh haha
How long did you wait? What has your experience been?fair enough, then i guess another car is probably a better idea for you.
We've considered our options like that too. Glad you got something!I end up spending extra 20k for a used MX. picked up yesterday in Fremont.
Well if my prediction is correct, then I'm not qualified to work at Tesla.I hope you're right. This would make a lot of sense. Maybe you should work at Tesla?
Just want to post here that I placed order 12/01 in Pittsburgh, PA. SR+, white + black interior + 18", no FSD (essentially everything default with nothing added). Found VIN in source code yesterday. Just completed the "Make Payment" part and am waiting for the official VIN to do the insurance. Any idea how soon I might be able to get the car delivered?
Yeah, I just got the notice yesterday. I will sign up for it since it is a good value for the additional services. Also, I can run my home automation through the web browser to have command over all functions in including opening and closing my garage door. So no need to purchase the homelink for 325 bucks.Per month
The only one included is the 120 V plug adapter. I purchased the NEMA 14-50 adapter from Tesla for 35 bucks.for anyone who has recieved their model 3... what adapters are included in the charging kit? on YT, im seeing the NEMA 14-50 is included but the tesla website doesnt have it included.
