SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

It's a wacky system, don't want to get your hopes up for nothing but I've see others go from a 2 week range to 4 weeks and back to 5 day range before taking delivery. Where are you picking it up?

I had a 2 day range in March, no VIN, and now EDD is Jul 25 - Aug 22.
OD Nov 5.

Wishing us all a whole lot of luck
I am picking up from Barrie - Innisfil

In the current environment of increasing interest rates what would the impact be of "cancelling" the loan? Is the original interest rate held through the multiple "renewals"? Or is reset to current market rates at each "renewal"?
My rate went up each time from 2.88%, 3.45 %, 3.98% and now 5.45%. Not sure if that's driven by my decreasing credit rating, or the rising loan rates

Change it to cash, then when you get your VIN change it back to loan.
I don’t wanna do any changes if I still can get a VIN even if my financing application is expired, you know what I mean? Once I get the VIN, they can simply refresh my application… my question is: can I leave it like it is and wait for the VIN? Also, will I ever get the VIN if the application is expired?

I was in the Same situation and the Tesla advisor said it would be considered as not complete so they switched mine to cash for me.

Hi everybody. I have bad news for SR buyers. Unfortunately, DMV data shows a big drop in SR registrations for the second quarter in a row.

Model 3 SR share of Model 3 registrations in the US:
  • Q1 2021: 50.9%
  • Q2 2021: 45.4%
  • Q3 2021: 45.0%
  • Q4 2021: 42.4%
  • Q1 2022: 11.8%
  • Q2 2022: 5.5%
The sample size is larger than 9,000 VINs for Q2 2022.

I'm able to differentiate trim levels by looking at digit 8 in the VIN. For Model 3, digit 8 means the following:
  • A means Single Motor Standard (standard here means non-performance)
  • B means Dual Motor Standard (standard as in non-performance)
  • C means Dual Motor Performance

Does a captured fleet like Hertz show up in this data?

As an optimist, I would prefer to believe this is due to an LFP supply issue (to be fixed) rather than an excessive preference for selling higher priced vehicles.

It's time to go LR AWD, assuming LR registrations did not also tank like SRs.
Thanks for the data.

Model 3 LR AWD portion of Model 3 registrations in the US were as follows:
  • Q1 2021: 40.0%
  • Q2 2021: 45.1%
  • Q3 2021: 42.2%
  • Q4 2021: 45.2%
  • Q1 2022: 75.8%
  • Q2 2022: 70.5%
What impact do you think this has on outstanding deliveries?

Will it have different impacts on:

-long term outstanding deliveries (2021 orders)
-more recent orders (2022)
-future orders

And what does this mean? Clearly it shows a lack of M3 SR registration because Tesla simply isn’t building that trim, at all.
