Sad news. My wife was driving back from work today, day after delivery, and was rear-ended on the highway in what would turn out to be a six car crash.

Thankfully, Tesla Tyson kept my wife safe and she was not hurt. Unfortunately, Tyson will be going to Tesla heaven.

Wow, so sorry to hear about that. Imagine if you were in any other car? Glad everyone is safe and alive. Hope your replacement comes much much sooner!

Silly question but since you’re supposed to charge the lfp battery to 100% does that mean it won’t have regen breaking until I drive a few miles? How many miles until it comes back?

my understanding is that the regen braking will just have reduced "power". might not decelerate from 50 - 0 the same it would at 80%.

Interesting. I tried looking at the dashcam video of the crash and nothing. There is no footage on the drive of anything, let alone the crash.

My wife pulled the drive out of the glove box before the car was towed away.

Absolutely frustrating. Tesla shows Oct to Dec estimates last week, I put in an order. Today, they show Dec 31st to Feb 1st for my delivery time. All this after the news pieces about Tesla focusing on getting cars out to customers quicker.

Afaik Tesla doesn’t automatically save dashcam footage unless you press the save dashcam button or honk(if you have that setting enabled), I might be wrong though

Took delivery today! Nothing wrong with the build just some dirty spots on the inside. Had a nice two hour drive back home , car is amazing!!!

Look at the regen bar. If you see dots, that means your regen is limited because the battery is full and/or cold.

You should enable the use of the brakes with regen in the settings.

Look at your MVPA. Mine said 14 days from the initial notification for pickup schedule.
