I wonder if it has to do with the seatbelt recall, and it causing a re-evaluation of delivery windows
Seatbelt recall has nothing to do with production. This is issue is caused by a service visit in which may or may not have resulted in the rear-middle seatbelt not being properly put back together if said service visit resulted in the removal.

Obviously, if you never had a service visit in which this was required, then you don't have anything to worry about. I think Tesla is just being over catuios with the number of recalls
Thank you! So when you finance, you tell them you want to put $10,000 and they deduct that from total cost?
Yes

Are you far from any delivery center in so. Ca? I don’t like to take the home delivery as I want to be able to inspect in person first.
Not really, I am in Los angeles county. I think you can report any issues within three days after delivery

Got my car today which is one day earlier than scheduled! It looks awesome and the delivery person told me that the missing features due to removal of USS would come back in January. I really hope so...

Question, I noticed the MVPA states that the vehicle has 15 miles on the odometer?... sounds a bit much for a new vehicle... what do you guys think?...
First, wow, I did not know there is a bank to provide 60mos loan for 2.89%. I should have done more study. I feel a bit dumb to get the loan from local credit union for 3.49% 60 mos. But I know I will definitely check the Adelfi when I am ready to apply another auto car for the new MYLR.

Speaking about the 15 miles, it shows the same on my MVPA. After you posted the same, I think it is the practice that they put this number as a buffer that car will roll from factory to parking lot and then on the truck and then unload, or some test driven. But will see.

I am taking the delivery today.

What is your configuration?

Same thing happen to me with the MVPA. It showed 15 miles. I picked up mine on Oct 29th. The screen showed 4 miles when I accepted and drove off.

wow my EDD pushed back 2weeks, i should’nt applied for Federeal Union for autoloan….🤦‍♂️ Damn, im so disappointed. I have no problem if my EDD pushed more like next year but Its kinda hard to guess of when i should apply for loan.

Hello,
Here is my EDD history to share.
OD: 7/3
EDD (updated 7/5): 11/14 - 1/9/23
EDD (updated 7/27): 11/13 - 12/25
EDD (updated 8/11): 10/28 - 12/9
EDD (updated 8/30): 10/22 - 11/26
EDD (updated 9/25): 10/19 - 11/16
EDD (updated 10/17): 11/04 - 11/18
EDD (updated today, 10/25): 11/05 - 11/19

My build is: Model 3SR/grey/no FSD/18-inch wheel.

It is in the 2-week window now. But no VIN yet. My question is: should I arrange the car loan now? I want to lock the rate before the next Fed meeting.
EDD (updated 10/29): 11/10 - 11/17. Received VIN.

The next step is to add the new car to my Tesla insurance policy.

Trust me, I work for a financial institution and I didn't have any clue about locking a rate for 60 days. 30 is usually the standard. My configuration is RWD/MSM/Black/Aero/no FSD. After I posted the question about the mileage, I found a thread from a years ago...that looks like 15 is basically the most that it can have by the time of delivery.

My experience so far from a 9/11 order date.
  • 9/11: 12/10-1/21 42 day window
  • 9/25: first three checkmarks completed
  • 9/26: 11/2-12/7 35 day window
  • 10/9: 12/4-12/31 27 day window
  • 10/19: 12/6-12/31 25 day window
  • 10/25: 11/8-12/6 28 day window
  • 10/31: trade in text received
According to others who has been through this, the trade in text isn't a significant indicator of anything. Everyone else who has gotten a trade in text were within two week windows except me, but VIN came within two weeks of this text for others.

Will update when I get a VIN or delivery date.

Picking up my m3rwd today, any delivery tips?
Picked up M3RWD yesterday. I went to a check list from @everydaychris and he has an extensive items to check. I went thru each one of them and I did find one tiny paint chip on the corner of the hood near to the passenger side. They did a touch up and not exactly blended in but it is too small to notice. Panels gaps wise, they are acceptable to my standard (and I seem have a low standard on what is ok re panel gaps or not). Some place seem misaligned but I am ok with that.

But I think I might be in more details on checkout each item on the list when I take delivery on Model Y LR (granted it is more expensive than M3RWD).

My wife and I did the walk thru on the car together. Also, I found out it is helpful to wear latex gloves while trying to touch the exterior because when I got the car, it did not look like it was even washed so a lot of dust and I don’t want to have my dirty hands touching when I went thru the interior.

Watch all the pre delivery videos Tesla has sent you. Do a walk around to determine if the car is up to your standards. Get inside and check out the interior surfaces for any significant flaws, and bring these to the attention of your delivery specialist. Discuss with specialist options for correction and determine if the cars condition is acceptable to you. After driving home, take not of any items that may stand out to you, and report to delivery any items you find to be unacceptable. Most issues can be quickly corrected during your first visit back to service (if needed). These cars are great, but not perfect. Enjoy driving your own Tesla for years to come. They can be life changing!

Ordered a black M3 standard rear wheel drive on Sept 25, 2022, the edd at the time was October-December 22. A day or so later the edd was December 3-January 10, on October 6 it changed to November 19-December 24, and it stayed that way until now. This past Saturday (Oct 29) I called Tesla and had them change my interior to white, it updated in the app and the Edd was still 11/19-12/24. Today (11/1) I checked the app and my EDD is now Oct-December 2022. 😩. Did I mess up by changing my interior?
