Merry Christmas everyone! Just checking in.

SR+ blue/white/sport wheels, ordered Tuesday, estimated delivery 12/29 - 12/31. Just waiting for my VIN so I can get insurance taken care of. Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone as we approach the end of the year!

I think it’s automatic for anyone who gets delivery by the 31st. I also ordered online but have been in contact with the SA who emailed that my order was processed. (Also made use of the chat box on Tesla site.)

This is what I was told by my SA as well and my delivery specialist confirmed it.

What are these mythical SA's some speak of? I have a delivery scheduled for the 29th. Am I supposed to hear from an SA?

Not necessarily. The SA (sales advisor) can sometimes be your first contact if you do something to prompt them to reach out to you (like say, request a test drive). In my case, I requested a trade in quote and mine contacted me. Then once I decided to go forward he brought in a delivery specialist.

I’m pretty sure that when I bought my first M3, I just went online and ordered and my first human contact was a delivery specialist. This actually might be the norm (but someone with more experience with Tesla feel free to correct me).

.... Got my first delivery appointment at Dec 23 and I was very excited... and than I got called that due to the weather condition delivery had been pushed back to today Dec 26..

I was angry at first since after all of those delays I am still closed to the delivery and atleast I was noticed ahead in tile.

Today l, on the delivery day. I got a text message saying, my car has not been arrived and my delivery day has been delayed to Dec 28...

How hard is it to estimate the delivery date....

Is anyone else still not showing a vin? I contact Tesla online chat support and they were not very helpful all they were able to tell me was that delivery can still happen this year but they can’t provide me with a timeline for a vin or delivery :( I’m not sure what’s the hold up, I ordered back in October and I’ve been showing a delivery time frame as of yesterday to Dec.31

Just got my VIN 873XXX. Schedule got pushed back a few days, vehicle is pinging in Fremont. A whopping 2 miles on it. I’d be curious how many miles it ends up having upon arrival to the hub and after PDI. Cliff notes ordered 12/9 White/White 18” Aero, got a deliver date of 12/27 which was booked in errored I got matched to someone else’s car and it unmatched me earlier today, now I got matched again to the latest vehicle that is in factory gate status.

lm located right next to fremont and same story here. I didn’t speak to my SA but someone on his behalf did call me and said they were 99% sure I’d receive delivery unless something drastic happened. Just wondering why it takes so long to get a vin. The person who I chatted with today made me feel a little less confident on getting delivery.

Placed my order on first week of October... still no vin (located in SF).

Like many others I've had my delivery window pushed 3-4 times, with the latest being today-12/31.

I also received an email today saying my loan offer has been "updated". I login to my account to see that my APR has increased from 2.49% to 2.74%. I called to see why this happened and they said it's because loan offers expire after 60-90 days so this is my new one. Aside from the fact that I was told I would be getting the Tesla about a month ago, the associate at Tesla said the APR increased because of the number of inquiries (all of them were from Tesla to get the first loan offer). Loan is through Tesla with JPM.

Safe to say we're off to a great start...

Oh wow that’s irritating, their customer services goes completely out the window when you place your order. I don’t understand why they can make all these inventory cars and deliver all within the same month but can’t seem to deliver vehicles ordered in the beginning of the quarter :rolleyes:

I was all set to pickup today at 10:00 AM, but I just got a call (8:00 AM here) that they found a scuff on the side from transportation so they are going to need to either repair it or find me another one. So they tentatively pushed it out to December 31st now. I just really wish they hadn't waited until 2 hours before I took delivery to call me. I know they're super busy right now, but that's so lame.
