You would think that would be an advantage, but maybe not. I texted my SA and they just say "We are estimating your delivery will be this month. We don't have any additional insight into exactly when you will receive a VIN though."

Well I only just got the VIN and delivery appointment today, so not really that long lol.
Well upon delivery I noticed one headlight was scratched and the other had a bunch of flaky stuff in the housing. They told me to make a mobile service appointment. The tech switched both out today, but since now it is dark, I just noticed both lights are angled way too far down, making a bunch of noise, and the beam is visibly bouncing up and down. When I try to go to the adjust headlights tab it is stuck on leveling headlights with a loading symbol. On top of this now my taillights don't light up either! The next service appointment isn't for another week.
Woke up to a VIN today! Super exciting. Just waiting on the text to schedule delivery.

Ordered 1/9, locked my account from receiving a VIN until 2/15 so that I could try to time delivery for late March. I am in Vineyard, UT so Salt Lake City is my store location.
The only option I have is white interior, everything else is stock.

Just confirmed my delivery date for tomorrow. Got an automated call confirming everything!
Here begins the long goodbye...I got my VIN and a text to schedule an appointment for delivery today. Ordered JAN 17, delivery to Burbank CA, Given MAR 23-25th to pick up, choosing the 25th (currently OOT). Ready to inspect the car and bid adieu to the waiting room. I will update with the delivery experience.
Everyone in the Western states are giving me hope that mine should be coming shortly. I ordered a SR+ plus, white exterior, white interior about 2 weeks ago and live only 3 hours away from Freemont.

It sounds like everyone is getting their VIN in the morning hours. Is that correct? I ask as I'm going crazy checking the website every hour. Maybe I should just be checking before noon.
Nope. The VIN might show up anytime during the day. I got mine overnight (I kept checking all day prior until 11pm). I've seen people getting their VIN anytime during the day.
Oh man why did you have to say that. You're feeding the beast...which is me going to Tesla.com every other hour to check.
Haha I know the feeling. I was refreshing that page 100 times a day on my computer at work, I even kept doing it on my phone when going to the bathroom lmao

I'm right there with you. Orders a couple weeks ago... All stock basic... 1.5 hrs away from fremont...
My essay just called me back and said that I will be getting my VIN this weekend and car will be ready sometime next week. Perhaps us West Coast California coast people might be on the same boat. I hope that is the case for the applicable people. Will update y'all once I get that infamous VIN

Just called my SA as well. It should be leaving the factory on the 22nd and I should have the vin in next day or two.
