SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Do I read it well? Just checked M3 configuration page for USA and it says the price before savings and incentives is 38,000USD! Is this a mistake or there was another price increase? I thought that Tesla confirmed the base price for SR M3 stays at 35,000USD

$35,000 for me too, are you sure didn't go to the next screen and tick the Autopilot option to add $3000 and then go back to step 1?

Update: received a phone call from ANOTHER person in Las Vegas (By far the most accommodating, yet!) Monday. Car was in Atlanta area center, and setup home delivery for Thursday morning (425 miles away). Had check FedExed, from Credit Union, and received by Delivery Center in Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

6:00 this evening, the day my car is set to arrive here, and I check my Tesla account page. The delivery schedule was changed to five days later. No phone call. No Email. Nothing.

I called the accommodating person in Las Vegas, who I assume is in sales, immediately. She looked on the computer, noticed the change in time, and had no explanation for it. She said she couldn't imagine why there was a change. She attempted to message my Delivery Advisor (Wait... I HAVE a delivery Advisor? Who is this person?), or anyone else at the Atlanta center, to no avail. Now... I know it was 4:30 Las Vegas Time, 6:30 my time, and 7:30 Atlanta time. So, they had probably left for the day.

She also told me she was able to pull up the calendar they use, and was able to change it back to the original time of tomorrow morning at 10:00. I asked this Las Vegas representative if there still a way they will get a car to me, 425 miles away, after reverting the calendar at this time? She assured me that yes.

My pessimism is increasing, as well as my disappointment in this process. The updates will continue, until the car is received, and the smile returns for the anticipated product.

Delivery advisor doesn’t contact you until the car is on it’s way to the delivery center.

I was contacted roughly one weekly before the scheduled date, then told by this delivery advisor to disregard the date in my account.

So what sales knows and what the delivery people who take the car, are different. Basically only the advisor can give you an accurate date when the car will be received and ready.

So my date went from initial March 27, to March 31st to March 28.

Picked Octavia up today, two days early! SR+, black/white/aeros. No AP/FSD. Happy to report that delivery was smooth as silk. I'll be honest in that I didn't scrutinize panel gaps all that closely, but her paint is almost entirely flawless--not a swirl or speck to be found. I discovered one very small, faint scratch in the front after I got home but it's so minor I'm not bothered. Black is my least favorite car color but I'll be damned if it doesn't look fantastic. Much as I would have loved to get red, I am so glad I put the money on the white interior instead. It's incredible, just gorgeous--knocked the socks off the friend who drove me to the showroom. Both immersive sound and fog light options are available. I was a little disappointed in the sound system at first--it seemed like it was only coming from in front of me--but once I turned it up a bit (how I usually listen to music) it sounded great. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire drive home. It's quite an adjustment coming from my old car--the view out the Model 3's back window is tiny in comparison--and I tend to be an anxious driver to begin with, so I drove like a granny at first. But it was still an incredible experience. Surreal. I still can't quite believe it! And I can't wait to take her out again!

Just took delivery of my SR+, black on black in Vancouver, Canada. Took the day off and drove around with the family for the whole day. I want to let everyone know that fit and finish is up to par, I don't see any problems in panels gaps or paint finish. Car is decently quiet on the highway, similar to my other car a e91 328xi. Only sound is from tires, literally no wind noise. I'm glad that Tesla has addressed all the issues with the latest batch of M3. I feel that my mission from now on is to get everyone that I know to hop on the EV train. Definitely drank the Koolaid.

Some advice for those of you getting your car wrapped, take a close video or pictures of those parts of your car getting wrapped before the treatment, and do a walkabout or inspection with the technician first. I had no proof the small dent over the passenger wheel well was not there before and the Proteck Tint technician said he ''found'' it so I'm on my own. I doubt I missed it at inspection but it was within the 3 days so I've asked my delivery specialist if they can have it fixed. Hope it will pop back into place.

Took delivery of my SR+ in Houston yesterday. This car is a blast! I never test drive the vehicle before ordering, but I’m impressed by the quietness and the acceleration. The only thing that shocked me is the aggressive deceleration for the regen brakes. It will take some time getting used to that.

SR+ blue/black order 3/13 it was ready for pickup on 3/23 but Tesla lagged on MVPA and my bank couldn't fund loan before the weekend picked up on 3/27. I love it. It's almost perfect.

The only issues where clear coat had some water marks soots not visible from a far but if you pay close attention and with the correct lighting and angle you'll see them and fitment for the door trim seem like they had excess material and it bulges on corners. Got a due bill so they can fix later after the end of quarter.

If it makes you uncomfortable, switch regen to Low. It'll require more use of the brakes, but it will give you time to familiarize yourself with your car. Then you can try again later.

A good PDR guy can remove that, does not look like the paint is chipped or cracked.

I know a really good one here in Montreal if you need, just PM me.

Thanks!

FYI - here are the option codes for my Model 3 SR+ (ordered on 2/28/19, delivered on 3/14/19)...I called out some notable points below based on the option code page below (the option code mappings may not be accurate - see some of the discrepancies below).

I was hoping for AP hardware 3.0 but looks like I have 2.5 (APH3). Also says I have 19" sport wheels (W39B) even though mine are 18" aeros. Code BT37 indicates a 75kWh battery but this has to be incorrect. Many of the codes don't show-up in the lookup page below.

* Code lookup here: Option Codes
* Checkout your own Tesla's option codes by following this handy how-to guide from Tim Dorr: Introduction (I used Postman for making the json requests)

With no experience or understanding of what you posted (lol) is there any other way to see any of this info? And I assume that your option of APF0 means you purchased autopilot?

If Regen is set to Standard (best to add energy back to the battery), you can set it to Low until you feel more accustom to driving it and braking. Doesn’t take too long to adjust though.

Just read down thread more and saw ItsNotAboutTheMoney had the same advice...so you know it’s good advice ;):D:p
