Ordered my SR+ (white/black/aero) on 7/25. Received my VIN 9/13 with a estimated delivery of 9/24. Got a delivery appointment today for 9/30. Also my sale advisor inform me that the delivery truck has been showing up a week early lately. So hopefully I'll get my model 3 before the 30th.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I found a match in local inventory, and it's not assigned to anyone. The SA I spoke to says it's not listed with any damage in the system, which they normally would note if it was a rejected delivery. He did say my car is on it's way, ETA 9/28. Thoughts on whether it's better to ask to matched now or wait for any announcement on Battery Day?
SA called on 09/19 and said I would be able to pick it up 2 days earlier on 09/20 (today) so I got my car today! Pick up was super easy and smooth and I love the car. Totally worth the wait

Logged into my account for the heck of it and saw it was asking for payment and MVPA was posted with VIN. Heard from my delivery specialist shortly after that. Looks like it's coming in right before the end of the month.

Was supposed to pick up Friday. Got a call asking if I could pick up today.
Then their website crashed. I was able to pick up still, but couldn't complete my trade-in as they couldn't print out the docs. Also, my car is still in delivery/wash mode with an alert that won't go away until they are able to mark it as "delivered" in their system. And of course, I can't set up my phone app yet. Ugh... Of course this outage happens today.
The car is nice though! Blast to drive. But it feels like "just a car" without the app and online services.

The website is backup and no updates from yesterday(At least for me). Still sitting on 3-7 weeks with no VIN. Let’s see if this change by the end of the day(Since their website was down).

9/22 - I Called Tesla delivery location to check status, delivery scheduled for 9/26
9/22 - Website updated with my delivery time and schedule (9/26 9:30am Buena Park)
9/22 - Text: "We expect your Model 3 to be built in the next 1-2 days"
9/23 - Website updated with VIN, Final payment, and Lending Agreement (MVPA)

The car can not even be shipped into Texas without insurance (active as of the shipment date). It must have the vin number. Payment also must be made. Texas law...

It came in a few days early, but the service center found a paint issue on the bumper. So they sent it to the paint shop. That took 10 days to fix.
Got the text that it was ready yesterday. Two hours later, I was on the lot inspecting the car. Looks great, no paint flaws that I can see. After I accepted delivery (on my phone), the Tesla website went down and I could not log in to my account. So I could not open the car door. Had to call for an unlock. Quite the hassle...
Drove it home. It accelerates great and is a lot of fun to drive. Happy with the car.
