Looks legit. No Signature marking on his IC.

Nice to see productions being delivered, hopefully Elon's promise of 1k per week remains standing.

Now Elon will be able to say: "We have started to deliver Production Model X vehicles to our customers" during his Weds. earnings call.

O.T. I kept putting in limit buy orders every $10-20 on the way down starting at $190. Hopefully, TSLA has found "support" now! It will be interesting to see how the market reacts after earnings on Weds.

I did same, but hopefully it was just some shortselling speculation and it is on the way back up.

I feel a bit sad for those Signature holders that are still waiting. This happened to me with Model S.

One of the bigger differences that should make you feel better, though, is that Signature Model X's are less expensive than the production counterparts when configured identically. This was not true with Model S, where I paid $6,500 more to get the car early (a/k/a the "sig tax") - but ended up receiving it weeks after the production cars started delivery... well, that and a cool red color, which wasn't $6,500 worth.

I can't believe they botched it again.

Spoke to our DS a couple of days ago and was told our Production Model X (VIN 0003XX) was finished and undergoing final inspections in Freemont.

We were told to expect delivery in 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed...!

P90D, no Ludicrous, standard Silver Wheels, Midnight Silver Metallic, Ultra White Seats, Figured Ash Wood Décor, Black Headliner, Seven Seat Interior, AutoPilot, Premium Upgrades Package, Ultra High Fidelity Sound, 48amp on-board charger.

Invited 12/7/2015, Ordered 12/7/2015, Confirmed 12/15/2015, VIN assigned 12/24/2015, production began ~1/13/2016, production completed ~2/1/2016.
Keep us posted! Sounds like production Xs are going to start delivering very soon. I hope most/all sigs have been delivered.
Here's an excellent example of how frustratingly BAD Tesla's communication is. We spoke to our DS today and this time he told us the car was still in production and should be finished by the end of next week.

What the heck is going on there?!? My car went from "final inspection and put on a truck soon" to "still in production." Absolutely ridiculous.

Our DS had called us mid-January to tell us the good news that our car had entered production. But when I asked him today when the car began production, he said "right around the end of January, beginning of February." Really gotta wonder who's supplying the erroneous information or if these delivery specialists don't know what they're doing.

You are lucky even to talk to your DS. I try to contact my DS for the past week and this week, no one in office!

Went to the "Meet Model X" event and spoke with a DS that confirmed he made prod X deliveries. Didnt specify VINs. Said he saw quite a few come through, BUT what I thought was interesting is that he said he hasnt seen ANY with the Onyx rims. Which I don't think is coincidence and leads me to believe what everyone is saying, the Onyx wheels are causing delay. I also asked other Tesla employees at the event and NO ONE has seen the Oynx rims despite coming across many various Model Xs.

I'm VIN 3XX and still haven't heard info of my car even going into production.... so a bit concerned with my wheel selection and where it means I fall in line for my P90D (fully loaded).

Black Onyx wheel were not an option available on Founders and Signatures. So with 1 to 2 Production Models delivered in the last two days, I wouldn't draw any conclusions at this point. The only "example" given on the Tesla 4th Quarter call was the seal for the Windshield and bright metal parts (the seats were mentioned, but was old news from the 3rdQ call). There was no mention of the rims, not to say that means they are not constrained. I called Tesla a few weeks ago, and the Sales rep reviewed my design (includes the Onyx Rims), said he saw nothing that would cause a delay - since it was a P90D with Premium, UHD sound, etc. Elon did mention on the call that the highest margin vehicles will be produced first to pay to the tooling and initial material cost of the Model X as well as contribute to the Model 3.

I guess everything is more speculation at this point. That is why I don't call. Elon mentioned that December and January were highly stressful. I can only imagine if Elon was stressed, then everyone below him would be equally or more stressed! I just leave them alone, they will get to me when they do -- I have chosen to give them some space.... the DS are most likely doing the best they can to keep the customers updated -- given the issues they had to resolve, things can change.
