State Farm insurance for S90D vs S75 vs P100 price difference

I was shocked to see price for these models - S90D vs S75 vs P100.

All 2017 year

S90D would cost me $550 every 6 months.
S75 - $800
P100 - $1000

Does it sound right?

That's about right, slightly higher in CA with state farm for P100. I went with Tesla insurance for P100 2019 for 150/month, maximum coverage and highest deductible and no tickets and clean driving records and all the best conditions for rates, like age, commute, location, kids, education etc etc that they use to calculate rates.

But why that difference?

Only difference in cars i can see is more/less range.
Why insurance for S90D with more range cost less then S75 ?
Does not have sense
And P100 insurance cost twice more then S75

from what i was told sometimes insurance is based off the msrp of the car. also performance is always going to increase your premiums.
