    Hey all;

    I wrote a little site to watch for the status change on the dashboard and alert if it changes.

    It's a combination of my site and pingdom but it works, using Email, SMS and Push notifications.

    If anyone wants it set it up, I'd be happy to share.

    I'd be interested in that. Probably less work to set up than the continuous checking that I'm doing manually.

    Hey Giz;

    The easiest way is to sign up for a free pingdom account and setup a transaction check.

    Screenshot

    It'll SMS, EMail and Push notify on a change.

    Giz - I spoke to Tim yesterday. He says end of this week or start of next, I reckon they'll all come out together.

    This worked perfectly. My status changed tonight and I was notified by email just as I was heading out to dinner. Now to update it to notify me when production is complete.

    Thanks Matta!

    Hey Giz!

    No problems. Still waiting for mine, Tim says it should be early this week.

    I accidentally bought a new house, that has a garage in the mean time. Phew, was not looking forward to keeping this thing on the street.

    Haha, well wasn't really an accident, more like an expedited decision. Was planning on doing it ASAP, but one popped up and we're nabbing it. The coolest part of the whole thing is the developer we're buying it off is upgrading us to an 80Amp circuit at their cost! That made my day last week.

    I bought a house late last year and put down my deposit on the Tesla about 2 weeks later once I knew I was going to have somewhere to charge it. Not a good car for renters or those with only off-street parking (yet).

    Nice work, Matta. Based upon your work, I tried to do a similar thing using Websitepulse (since we've been using it for years). Couldn't do it easily - Pingdom rocks. We need to use it for all our monitoring.

    pingdom & pager duty are the modern shiny that we use for our stuff.
