Soon I will be able to supercharge while in Macon on business. I won't need to top off more than a few minutes. Is there any reason I cannot stay in the car and make a few calls while supercharging? Does it cause the fan to run too loud to make calls? Thanks.
There is no reason you cannot stay in the car while charging or Supercharging. I did it in the rain at Pt Orange.
Depending on the outside temperature, the A/C compressor will come on to keep the batteries cool while charging. I've sat in the car while Supercharging for 30 minutes at a time and noticed the A/C ran most loudly during initial charging, the bottom 50% when the charge was at max 120kW. As the current ramped down, so too did the A/C sound.
The question never even entered my mind - I just did it, basically because I had nothing else to do. No problem.
